Carl A. Nelson & Company has been providing construction services for this Owner since 1972 in various capacities including this $3,200,000.00 renovation and addition to the Minor League stadium of the Burlington Bees.
A new press box and concession/office building were constructed and an extensive renovation to the existing facilities, which included a brick veneer on the visitors and home clubhouses. The architectural canopy over the main concourse area and most of the grandstands was designed to complement the design used for the Great River Bridge over the Mississippi River from Burlington to Gulfport, Illinois.
