Ribbons cut on CANCO school projects in Fort Madison, Iowa

The $33 million construction management project helped to remake K-12 education in the SE Iowa community with new Pre-K to 6th and 7th- to 12th-grade campuses.
FORT MADISON, Iowa — After more than three years serving in the role of construction manager for the Fort Madison Community School District, during which Carl A. Nelson & Company was were engaged in pre-construction, construction management and construction execution, firm officials helped the district to open additions and renovations at the Pre-K to 6 Fort Madison Elementary (formerly the middle school), and new Fort Madison Junior-Senior High (formerly the high school) for grades 7 to 12, during back-to-back ribbon-cutting ceremonies held Aug. 22, 2024.
